How to earn from nicetalk App as an English tutor

Hey Guys, Gabe Turner here from gabeturner.com and today I want to tell you about how you

can get paid just for knowing English with the NiceTalk App.

It's a super cool app I've been testing out for the last two weeks and I'm incredibly

happy with it.

I'm so excited to find this app.

Let me tell you about it.

You get paid ten bucks an hour to talk to Chinese...

people in China who are wanting to learn English and practice their English and it feels like

you're getting paid to hang out with people.

I talk about American TV shows.

I got one of my students to get into Breaking Bad and now we talk about Breaking Bad every

week.

We share music, it's so cool.

And he's just happy to practice English and, of course, you kind of make friends while

you're doing that so it's really fun.

So, you get paid every week as long as you've made at least twenty bucks.

It goes right to your paypal.

The cool thing is, as soon as you start you get a $10 bonus in your account.

So it only takes talking one hour on the app to make twenty bucks.

So, very cool.

So, it pays to your paypal.

Here's my first payment that I received.

Twenty bucks, 84 cents.

It's legit, real deal right here.

I've already been paid twice and I'm gonna get another one pretty soon after that.

So, this is happening fast for me.

It's really nice compared to some of these other apps out there that are just paying

little pennies, you know?

So, one of the top tutors...

I talked to him, he makes $350 a week on average.

He talks about 6 hours of talking per day.

He turned that into a real job, he's really committed.

You can do it as little or as much as you want.

He's been doing it for about four months so he kind of built up to that but I could see

how you could do it.

As long as you're faithful and you just keep logging in you can do it.

So, what you need.

You need to be fluent in English, you need to have fast internet.

Okay, fluent in English - you can't have a heavy accent because that would be confusing

to somebody who's just learning English.

You can have a British accent or other kinds of accents but it can't be, you know, so heavy

that it might be confusing.

You could try it out, you can try it.

If it works for you, great.

I'm happy for you.

But, I'm just telling you.

I love to hear accents so I'm not putting you down or anything.

I'm just saying this is what works best.

So, you need fast internet because you're gonna be on your phone talking like on a skype

call.

You don't want to drop the call because that would be really bad.

So, you want a good smartphone.

iOS or Android.

Quiet place to talk.

You need to be in a place where you're not gonna be distracted.

That's something you've really got to think about, you can't have pets or kids running

around in the background.

You've gotta be quiet.

This is serious, it's like a job.

So, the better you do the more students you're going to attract.

The more people are going to want to come back to you and have you as their main tutor.

So, you're kind of in competition with the other tutors.

So, you want to do a good job.

You can't just slack off.

So, you wanna be patient and friendly.

Just imagine if you were learning something new.

What would you want?

What kind of a tutor would you want?

So, you've got to be able to be patient.

Some of these people really struggle with pronouncing words and stuff so you've gotta

be able to help them.

So you've just gotta be patient and friendly.

Keep it up beat.

It's really cool.

Some of them are advanced.

Some are really beginners.

Some are in between.

So you'll meet all kinds of people.

So one thing you've gotta know is the app is not in the iTunes store yet.

So there's special instructions at my link gabeturner.com/nicetalk - you'll probably

see a link to click on the screen or you can click on one below in the description.

So, you wanna go to that and it'll give you all the instructions you need because it's

not accepted in the iTunes store yet.

It's not because it's bad.

It's just 'cause it's the process.

So, it's a totally dependable app.

Android is easier.

They're in the Google Play store so you can get it there.

Download it.

You might need to allow the app to install within the security settings.

Go create your account and you're going to want to keep this window open so you can follow

along.

It's a little bit complicated but it's not too hard.

So, you'll see this.

I'm just gonna go through this real quick.

Just follow along with my instructions right here, really easy.

You're gonna see this: Untrusted Enterprise Developer - people think "Oh no, what's that

mean?"

It's not a big deal it's just something you have to follow through to go into your settings.

This is for iphone.

General, go to your settings, I've told you everything you need to do, just follow the

instructions and you will get access very quickly and then you're ready to login and

then you're gonna want to record and submit your introduction video.

It's kind of like an audition for the NiceTalk staff.

They're in China and they are making sure that the students are good, I mean the tutors

are good enough to tutor.

So, they want to make sure that you... they just want to make sure you're nice, you're

presentable, you're not a slob and you can speak reasonably well and clear.

If that's not who you are then, sorry, this isn't for you.

Try something else.

But, I'm just telling you something... giving you some suggestions here.

Go check those out.

Complete your profile.

You're going to have to... it's like a whole profile so you're introducing yourself to

the students.

Here's my examples, you can see my examples of my profile videos.

These are the ones that you record for the students.

You record one video for the students and one video for the staff so that's how you

kind of... you get in on things, so...

And then...

other tips there, how long does it take to get accepted?

It takes two days.

When I applied it took longer.

Like six days.

I think it was a mix-up or something.

But I just emailed them and they fixed it really quick.

They're really good.

They get back to you by email quick so I've got an email, support email for ya right there.

And once you're accepted, you go to this page and this will be the main page you see, you

just click, "Go Online" and then you're available to all the students out there at that time.

So, as soon as you go online they can call you.

You just wait and you get a call and you start talking.

You can talk for ten minutes, you can talk for an hour.

So, anyway...

Best times to reach students in China.

This might be challenging for some of you depending on where you live because their

peak times are 4pm to 11pm in China so I've listed the times at least for the U.S. how

that correlates.

So, you might want to check that out.

I've been waking up a lot earlier these days to get on the phone.

Because you go on in the peak times you'll just have way more chance of getting lots

of students.

I'll get off one call and get another call right away.

So, it's pretty awesome.

And you're getting paid to do this.

It's sweet.

So, I've got some tips for success here.

I've made a very detailed post and one of the really cool things is you can increase

your earnings by referring other tutors.

So, every time... like if you get accepted, you can refer other tutors and you get twenty

bucks for each referral that is accepted and chats for more than 30 minutes on the app.

So, there are some people that are making quite a bit of income from just doing the

referral.

So, that's a cool bonus.
