How to make money using Bunny studio

 Transcript

a few years ago the pay-to-play site

voice 123

set up a side project that

had a different business model it was

completely free to join uh

and they didn't take any commission and

it was really different from

the main platform and that was called

voice bunny

and i was having a look around on google

the other day and i couldn't

seem to find it and then i found another

site

bunny studio and it turns out that

that's the same one so

voice bunny has rebranded as bunny

studio not radically different but

what about the the actual site itself is

it worth joining

and as a voice over artist should you

explore it and

just have a look and see if you can sign

up let's dive in

and take a look

[Music]

in your browser go to bunnystudio.com

and then you need the voice and the

talent bit

i've gone forward slash voice forward

slash talent

if we take a look here this is the what

they call the pros

and that's you really that's what it

means

as a voice-over artist and don't say

oh but i'm i'm only starting out because

they will say well actually we still

consider you a

pro you know you want to get paid for it

an amateur is someone who doesn't get

paid and

in this case they want to pay you

hopefully

so on this bit of the site they say what

they're looking for in a pro

let's go through these uh requirements

so first of all quality delivering high

quality voice overs

is a must all our pros

should record with professional audio

equipment

goes without saying communication

effective communication is key keep us

in the loop of your absences

or if you have questions about a project

speed

now this was the thing with the old

voice bunny

that speed was of the essence really

jobs come in fast we expect our pros to

keep up

with our pace we expect all our pros to

meet our deadlines

availability we take our project

seriously we expect our pros to be

available to accept and complete them on

time so if you're the kind of person

who just hasn't got time or you can only

do things

maybe in the evenings when you're back

from work or whatever might not be ideal

but if you're at home a lot working from

home

or you're a student or retired

then this could be the site for you and

then this

second half of the screen what you get

as a pro

free subscription i think this is really

interesting so here they're saying no

application

subscription or commission fees we add

our margins on top of the rates

that you set for yourself so that's

different from sites like voice 123

voices.com

and even sites like fiverr people brow

where they're skimming off

a commission support and feedback

if one of your deliverables is rejected

you'll receive feedback from our quality

control team

if you have questions our support team

is available

blah blah now set your rates you do that

you're free to set your own rates

according to your experience so you

could come in fairly

low cheap and cheerful to get yourself

started depending on the type of

project they say our system will

calculate your personalized

rewards so that's okay sort of takes

that away from you

and get paid for every approved

subscription so this is really

interesting get paid

for every deliverable you submit and

that is approved by our quality

uh that is approved by our quality

control team including auditions

even if our client rejects it now this

is a really

i think a really kind of distinctive

element

of body studio and that is the if you're

doing the old

basically the auditions you're getting

paid as long as it's accepted

so you don't even have to get the job

and you'll still get

some money for it so it sounds

promising really uh all projects come

your way we'll send you invitations to

your email according to your skills

you don't have to browse a thousand

projects to find the best one

for you so they're doing it for you and

then here's the application process

create an account submit your test

get reviewed scary bit

start getting jobs and then you join

then fill in all your details it is a

different way of working i don't think

it's going to suit everyone

and if it's anything like voice bunny

was

it's really difficult to get accepted

and they used to have a thing where they

said the vast majority of people who

apply won't be accepted they'll be

rejected so don't be too disheartened if

that happens

but if you get taken on to bunny studio

then quite possibly it could be a nice

little earner

however what i will say is that you have

to be

available i think that was one of the

key key requirements

and it's not like some of the other the

other places the other platforms where

you might have a good 48 hours or even

more

to reply to the staff and the work might

hang around for

much longer with that i think it's kind

of

diving you've got to respond straight

away you've got to

apply and just get that that audition in

but then having said that it seems like

they are paying for auditions

as well so don't know how much you get

obviously a percentage perhaps of the

the jobs worth

but that's actually a rather unique

thing and of course it's completely free

to join

and they're not taking any commission so

there are some real plus points there

whether you sign up or not whether

you're accepted or not of course is a

completely

different matter all right i hope that

helps look after your voice

and see you next time
